Adams Street promotes seven to partner

The firm has promoted seven principals to partner across its offices in Chicago, Beijing, London, Boston and Menlo Park.

Adams Street Partners has promoted seven principals to partners, the firm said.

Thomas Bremner, is based in the firm’s Chicago office and invests in venture and growth companies with a focus on healthcare. Before joining Adams Street in 2013, he was vice president at Summit Partners in Boston area and was in investment banking at JPMorgan in Chicago, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Joseph Goldrick is based in Chicago and is responsible for North American and Latin American secondary investments. Prior to joining the firm in 2006, he was an analyst in investment banking at Robert Baird & Co. in Chicago, according to his LinkedIn.

Also in Chicago, Tobias True, CFA, is responsible for applying advanced analytics to performance attribution and portfolio risk management. He joined the firm in 2012. His professional experience includes summer associate at American Century Investments, research analyst at Catalyst Mutual Funds, vice president of risk and portfolio construction at MSCI Barra, and analyst at Bloomberg, according to his LinkedIn.

Morgan Webber focuses on the US portfolio, specifically small to mid-market managers that target on healthcare and consumer. Based in Boston, she also maintains relationships with minority and women-owned managers, the firm said. Prior to joining the firm in 2011, she was an associate at BlackRock and an analyst at Merrill Lynch, according to her LinkedIn.

Michael Zappert, based in Menlo Park, sources and leads expansion and late-stage venture capital investments in the big data, cloud, SaaS and mobile industries. He joined Adams Street in 2009, before when he had been a senior associate at 3i Group and an analyst at Credit Suisse, according to his LinkedIn.

In Adam Street’s Beijing office, Doris Guo focuses on primary investments in the Greater China region. She joined the firm in 2012, until when she had been a senior associate at Adveq. Earlier in her career, she was an investment manager at C.V. Starr, manager at KPMG and a senior associate at PwC, according to her LinkedIn.

Ross Morrison, who joined the firm in 2010, is based in London. He focuses on the European primary portfolio, which includes the UK, the Nordic region and Israel. The firm said he also focuses on venture capital and emerging Europe and Africa. He was previously a senior associate at Horsley Bridge Partners and a chartered accountant at Ernst & Young, according to his LinkedIn.

Adams Street manages about $27 billion in assets in seven offices around the globe.
