Adveq, a private equity fund of funds investment firm based in Zurich, has appointed Graeme Scott Johnson as managing director and head of business development. He will take up his role from the start of next year.
Previously Johnson was head of marketing and sales at LGT Capital Partners. Prior to that he worked for AXA Investment-Managers.
In related news, Adveq has raised an initial E125m for its PEEUP II Beteiligungs fund, which the group invests in European buyout funds. Fundraising also continues for the company’s third US-focused high-technology fund of funds PETP III, said Bruno Raschle, founder and managing director of Adveq Group. The fund has a target capitalisation of $350m and the group is expecting a first closing of $250m before the end of the year.
Adveq has around $1bn under management in more than 100 investments worldwide.
