Ant Capital Partners raises $195m

The Tokyo-headquartered investment firm achieved a final close for its private equity vehicle.

Ant Capital Partners has raised a total of JPY21.2 billion ($195.1 million, €175.4 million) and held a final close for Ant Bridge No.5-A Private Equity Investment.

The vehicle will invest in small-and-medium enterprises in the Japanese market.

Its sister vehicle, Ant Bridge No.5-B Private Equity Secondary Investment Fund, raised $135.4 million in February 2019 with the main focus of the secondaries market, beating its target of $141 million.
