AppsCo bags $10m in second-round funding

The Scottish business management software company will spend the cash on a marketing campaign ahead of an IPO next year.

The round was subscribed largely by Scottish venture capital funds, led by the Scottish arm of 3i.

AppsCo produces business intelligence and database management software for small and medium-size companies.

The company has 30 “development” partners, including the troubled giant Microsoft. It plans to open a further five offices worldwide this year.
