BCFPERS approves $15m commitment

The Maryland-based public pension has backed Lexington's ninth secondaries fund.

Baltimore City Fire and Police Employees’ Retirement System (BCFPERS) has agreed to commit $15 million to Lexington Capital Partners Fund IX, a contact at the pension informed Private Equity International.

The $2.76 billion US public pension has a 10.0 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 7.80 percent.

As illustrated in the charts below, BCFPERS has committed to five private equity funds with a 2018 vintage which combined constitute $65 million.
