BCFPERS confirms $75m in commitments

The US public pension has backed four PE funds in its latest round of commitments.

Baltimore City Fire and Police Employees’ Retirement System has approved $75 million-worth of private equity commitments, according to minutes from its July 2020 board meeting.

The commitments comprise $25 million each to One Rock Capital Partners III and Frontier Fund VI; alongside $25 million to two vehicles managed by Greenspring Associates. Greenspring Global Partners X and Greenspring Diversity I have each received a $12.5 million commitment.

The $2.85 billion US public pension has an 11 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 8.6 percent.
