Belmont Retirement Board, a Massachusetts DB pension plan, saw its private equity exposure decrease by nearly 1.5 percentage points since 2016, a contact within the organisation informed Private Equity International. Percentage allocation to private equity decreased from 5.5 percent at the end of December 2016 to 4.2 percent at the end of June 2019.

The $109.31 million public pension has a 7.0 percent target allocation to private equity.
