Berkeley Energy raises $141.41m

Berkeley Energy has raised $141.41 million for its Renewable Energy Asia Fund II, according to a SEC filing. The London-headquartered firm began fundraising in 2015 with a $250 million target.

Its previous fund raised $100 million in 2011.

Investors that committed to Renewable Energy Asia Fund II include the International Finance Corporation and the Swiss Investment Fund for Emerging Markets.

The fund will target unlisted equity opportunities in a diverse number of sectors in North America.
