BID Equity raises €125m

The German firm closes its second fund above target.

BID Equity held a final close of BID Equity Fund II on November 29th at €125 million ($138 million), hitting the fund’s hard cap. The target size was €100 million.

The fund will continue to pursue the firm’s strategy of making majority investments in the B2B software sector in Europe, specifically targeting Austrian, German and Swiss firms. Fund II held a first close in July and began investing shortly thereafter.

Investors in the fund include “blue-chip investors, international family offices and entrepreneurs from Europe and the US,” the firm said in a press release.

AXON Partners served as placement agent for the fund. The law firm P+P Pöllath + Partners Rechtsanwälte Steuerberater helped with fund formation.
