BrainsToVentures opens Munich office

The company believes it will be better positioned on the start-up market with its office in Munich.

BrainsToVentures (b-to-v), an online marketplace for entrepreneurs and start-ups, which has been operating since January, has opened its first German office in Munich.

b-to-v functions as a neutral mediator that brings together all participants in setting up a company. Cooperation partners, such as WirtschaftsWoche, n-tv, or 4students, log on to the online platforn and gain access to the b-to-v network which consists of international founder, student, and jobportals as well as Business-Angel networks.

Hermann Arnold, CEO of BrainsToVentures, welcomes the move. “Approximately every fourth German start-up is founded in Munich. Through our presence in Munich we can position BrainsToVentures much more effectively in the start-up scene – this is essential for a network,” he said

Since the online launch of the exchange in January 2001 over 1000 students and professionals, and over 500 enterprises or founding teams have been actively using the platform.

The company was set up by graduates of the University of St Gallen and the Federal Institute of Technology in Switzerland. It provides users with a means of finding suitable management partners, interns, young professionals and private investors. BrainsToVentures has its headquarters in St. Gallen, Switzerland.
