British Patient Capital, a subsidiary of British Business Bank, has committed to Amadeus V Technology Fund, according to a recent press release. The size of the commitment is currently unknown.
The Amadeus V Technology Fund, managed by Amadeus Capital Partners, closed in April and raised £110 million ($153 million; €127 million). Amadeus V will focus investments on the TMT sector, such as medical technology and artificial intelligence. The fund’s portfolio companies so far include software company Riverlane.
British Patient Capital tends to focus its private equity fund commitments on venture and growth equity vehicles.
