Placement agent Capstone Partners has hired two executives for its new Singapore office as it establishes a presence in the region.

According to a company statement, Alexandre Schmitz will head the firm’s Singapore office. Schmitz previously worked in various senior positions at the Belgium-based investment firm Cobepa Group.

Teena Jilka has also been hired and will be responsible for fundraising and origination in India. Jilka previously worked with JP Morgan’s alternative investment group, marketing private equity, real estate and hedge funds to high net worth individuals across the EMEA region.
