Centurium Capital raises over $2bn

Centurium Capital closes its debut US dollar fund for over $2 billion, exceeding its $1 billion target.

Centurium Capital held a final close of Centurium Capital Partners 2018 at over $2 billion, exceeding its target size of $1 billion. The fund was launched in March 2018 and reached a significant first close of nearly $1 billion in three months.

The fund has attracted top institutional investors including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, corporate pensions, family offices, FoFs, and other financial institutions.

The firm focuses on investing in healthcare and consumer services sectors. It has completed numerous investments in Chinese companies since its first close, including a trending coffee chain (Luckin Coffee), a leading online SaaS platform for the trucking sector (Keking), a bio-pharmaceutical company (China Biologic Products), a preschool SaaS education platform (Happy Kids Education), a fast-fashion eyewear brand (LOHO), and other enterprises.
