EiRx announces £9m private placement
Dublin-based biotechnology company EiRx Therapeutics has announced details of a private placement from which it hopes to raise between £7-9m. Investors in EiRx to date include 3i Group plc, World Life Sciences, a subsidiary of Billam plc, and Enterprise Ireland.
EiRx hopes that the fundraising will accelerate its discovery achievements to date, speed up commercialisation and expand the company’s IP portfolio. 3i Group has announced its continued backing of EiRx and is intending to participate in the private placement alongside new investors.
World Life Sciences plc currently owns just under 23 per cent of EiRx Therapeutics Limited.
Info2clear generates E3.5m of new financing
Info2clear, a Belgium-based provider of digital content delivery systems, has announced that it has raised E3.5m in new investment. Info2clear has raised this latest round of capital in order to further develop the company’s content delivery technology.
Newly-formed IT investment trust Bruficom is leading the funding round, investing E1m in Info2clear. Existing shareholders ABN AMRO Capital, BELGACOM, CD Technicom and management have agreed to contribute a further E2.5m in fresh capital.
