TVM, 3i and Polytechnos lead E20m round in Jerini; German VCs invest in European information manager

TVM, 3i and PolyTechnos lead E20m round in Jerini

Jerini AG, a Berlin-based biotech company has raised E20m in Series B funding. The round was jointly led by TVM Techno Venture Management, 3i and PolyTechnos Funds in Munich.

Further participants in the round are Sanders Morris Harris’ LifeSciences Opportunity Fund of the US, as well as previous investors IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft and tbg.

Jerini is a drug discovery company performing systematic transformation of peptide
leads, based on its technology platform, into drug-like structures.


German VCs invest in European information manager

Innotech GmbH and DVC Deutsche Venture Capital, a partner of Deutsche Bank, have invested E2.9m in a third financing round for Cedron, a provider of product information management solutions.

Cedron, formerly known as ConsumerDesk, first raised venture capital in April 2000 when Nesbic CTE Fund led a round. Prior to that seed capital had been raised from private investors.

Cedron claims to have more than 100 customers in Europe using its platform to optimise internal and external product information management.
