VC firms back second-round financing for French multi-access firm

Sofinov, Crédit Lyonnais Venture Capital, CIC Innovation, Odyssée Venture, Innovacom and Galileo Partners provided E13.25m for this second round financing of Wokup!, a French vendor of internet information tools.

Massachusetts-based NetCapital investment bank acted as placement agents for the transaction. Investors comprised both new investors as well as investors that have previously provided backing for the company.

Go Equity leads E4m investment

Funds advised by Go Equity have co-ordinated a E4m financing package for a 'significant minority' shareholding in Inova Holding GmbH.  Based near Innsbruck, Austria, Inova designs, manufactures and distributes embedded computers for the industrial market. 

Earlier this month, Inova acquired Robert Bosch Multimedia-Systeme in Hildesheim, Germany. This acquisition, which will be immediately re-named Inova Multimedia GmbH, combines the key technologies for passenger TV in mobile transportation systems in one company.
