Delaware Public Employees’ Retirement System has agreed to commit $101 million across four private equity vehicles, according to the pension’s April 2021 board of trustees meeting minutes.
The commitments comprise $35 million to Accel Growth Fund VI, $16 million to Accel XV, $10 million to Meritech Franchise Fund and an additional $40 million to Flagship Pioneering Fund VII.
As illustrated below, the pension’s recent commitments have been to venture capital funds targeting investments in North America. DPERS currently allocates 13.39 percent of its full investment portfolio to private equity.
