Dymon Asia Capital raises $450m

The Singapore-headquartered manager closed at its hard-cap.

Dymon Asia Capital held a final close for its Dymon Asia Private Equity (S.E Asia) Fund II at $450 million. The fund was launched in September 2017 with a $350 million target.

Sovereign institutions, insurance companies and banks, multi-generational family offices and professional asset managers are investors in the fund.

The fund’s predecessor, Dymon Asia Private Equity Fund (DAPE Fund I)

The firm will use the capital to make investments as its predecessor, focusing on both growth and control investments the lower mid-market space or small and medium enterprises in South-East Asia.
