El Paso Firemen & Policemen’s Pension Fund approves $7m commitment

The US public pension has backed a multi-regional focused fund.

El Paso Firemen & Policemen’s Pension Fund confirmed a commitment of $7 million to KPS Special Situations Fund V.

The LP has previously made commitments to KPS Special Situations Fund III and KPS Special Situations Fund IV.

As illustrated in the charts below, the $1.48 billion US public pension has a 10 percent  target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 9.06 percent.
