EQT held a final close for its EQT Mid Market Asia III at $800 million.
The fund is backed by some global pension funds, insurance companies and fund-of-funds. It has already made investments in Long-Spring Education, GPA Global, ILA Vietnam and Clinical Innovations.
The firm will use the capital to make secondary investments in healthcare. business services, consumer goods and TMT sectors in Greater China and South-East Asia.
