Everstone Group hires head of capital markets and exits

Singapore-based Everstone Group has appointed Bhavna Thakur as head of capital markets and exits across its private equity and real estate businesses. With 17 years of corporate finance and investment banking experience, she has previously worked at Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, Wharton & Garrison LLP, and Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP.

Everstone is focused on investments in India and South Asia and is building a dedicated capital markets and exits group. Thukur will be based in its Mumbai office.

In April, the group hired two new managing directors on its operations team based in Singapore, Roshini Bakshi and Rajiv Shukla, as reported by Private Equity International. In the same month it acquired Asia Pacific payroll business Payfront Technologies Ptd, which it will rebrand as Excelity.
