The Singaporean sovereign wealth fund is looking to increase its exposure to the asset class.

Government of Singapore Investment Corporation revealed in its latest annual report that it sets the long-term target allocation to private equity to between 11 percent and 15 percent for its Policy Portfolio and GIC expects it to outperform its Reference Portfolio over a 20-year period.

The current private equity allocation is 9 percent, remaining the same as previous fiscal year.
