Granville Baird Capital Partners has invested £5m in Mentor Technology International Limited, a management consultancy which specialises in telecoms, and taken a minority shareholding in the company.
Royal Bank of Scotland leveraged finance provided £7m of term facilities, a £1.5m working capital loan and £1m of equity finance.
Mentor will use the funding to develop its management team and build its role in the telecoms industry.
Founder and chief executive of Mentor David Hilliard, previously Programme Director at Plessey Telecommunications, started the company in March 1991.
