IFC proposed $25m to target Asian growth opporunities

IFC proposed a up to $25 million of equity to Carlyle Asia Growth Partners V.

International Finance Corporation (IFC), the investment arm of the World Bank, proposed to make up to $25 million equity investment in Carlyle Asia Growth Partners V.

IFC’s commitment will not exceed 20 percent of total fund commitments. The Fund V will explore small buyout and late-stage growth capital investments in China, India and opportunistically in South Korea.
