Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance and Prevention Fund seeks domestic VC fund managers

The South Korea-based labor fund issues an RFP for domestic VC opportunities.

The Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance and Prevention Fund has issued a request for proposal for domestic venture capital fund managers.

The fund plans to commit a total of KRW$60 billion ($48.8 million; €45.2 million) to four managers. Eligible managers should oversee a fund of at least KRW$50 billion ($40.7 million; €37.6 million), and have at least five years of experience in the private equity industry.

The submission deadline is 29 May 2020, with a decision put forth to the investment committee in June 2020.
