The board of Kansas Public Employees Retirement System approved commitments of $75 million to Vista Equity partners VII and $75 million to Warburg Pincus Global Growth Fund XIII.
Both are mega funds targeting $12 billion in the TMT sector and $13.5 billion in diversified sectors, respectively. The $19.2 billion pension fund has a 7 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 6.2 percent.
