RREEF, the alternative investment and asset management business of Deutsche Bank, has appointed Paul Keogh as chief investment officer for Asia Pacific. He replaces Mark Fogle who resigned from the firm at the end of last month.
Keogh, who joined RREEF in 2004, has more than 17 years experience in real estate in roles which included valuations, consulting and advisory work, brokerage, asset management, finance and fund management. He is based in Hong Kong.
Fogle, who joined RREEF in 2007 from the real estate investment platform of AIG, is yet to assume another role but told colleagues, via email, he was keen to remain in the sector.
Fogle was the highest profile of a number of departures by senior executives from the firm in the region in recent months.
Other departures included: head of acquisitions, Brian Chinappi, who left to join Standard Chartered as global head of real estate investment; head of client relations, Phillip Levinson, who moved to The Blackstone Group’s capital raising team; and head of portfolio management, Jon Tanaka, who joined Angelo Gordon as head of Japan.
