Knorr Capital takes over technology investor

The German venture capital company has acquired the outstanding shares in IT-Adventure AG, which has five investments in technology companies.

Knorr Capital Partner AG, has acquired all outstanding shares from IT-Adventure AG's existing shareholders by means of a share swap. The shares issued are subjected to a lock-up period of up to one year. The value of the deal has not been disclosed.

IT-Adventure AG, which is domiciled in Munich, has minority interests in new technology-driven firms providing products and services, predominantly in software, telematics and related sectors. The five companies IT-Adventure is currently invested in will be rolled into Knorr’s portfolio.

In addition, Knorr Capital has acquired a minority stake in VAI B.V., a Dutch company that develops and markets the facility management of IT structures. VAI recorded net sales totaling E7.5m in the past fiscal year and expects further growth with strong profits within this year.
