Korea Post Insurance seeks an overseas VC FoF manager

The insurance unit of South Korea’s postal service targets to scale up VC exposure through FoF strategy.

Korea Post Insurance, the insurance unit of South Korea’s postal service Korea Post, has issued a RPF to seek a fund manager for its overseas venture capital fund of funds strategy.

It aims to commit a total of $50 million to a venture capital fund of funds, which targets primary, secondary, direct or co-investment opportunities.

The eligible manager must be currently managing a VC fund of funds or a VC separate managed account. Also, the manager is required to make a minimum of one percent commitment to the fund.

The application deadline is September 20, 2018.
