LACERS plans on committing to two PE funds

The US public pension plans to back two private equity funds.

Los Angeles City Employees' Retirement System plans to commit $40 million to EnCap Energy Capital Fund XI and $25 million to Brentwood Associates Private Equity VI in its upcoming board meeting on April 11.

The $15 billion US public pension has a 30.6 percent current allocation to alternatives.
