LACERS plans to commit $342m to PE in 2017

LACERS plans a similar commitment to private equity for 2017 as it did in 2016

Los Angeles City Employees' Retirement System plans on committing upwards of $342 million to private equity for its projected calendar year 2017, a similar amount that was committed in 2016. Of that amount the institution will emphasize commitments towards middle market and lower middle market buyout funds.

The $15 billion US public pension has a 10.13 percent allocation to private equity.
