Linear Venture raises $142m

The Shanghai-based venture capital firm has held a final close for its latest funds.

Linear Venture has corralled CNY500 million ($72.1 million, €62.9 million) and $70 million for its Linear Venture CNY fund II and Linear Venture fund III respectively. The fund will invest in data and artificial intelligence technologies in China.

Established in 2014, the firm is now managing over CNY1.5 billion ($216.4 million, €189 million).
