New Mexico State Investment Council has committed $100 million to Ares Corporate Opportunities Fund V. The institution has invested in several previous Ares vehicles.
San Luis Obispo County Pension Trust's investment consultant, Verus, has been authorized to conduct a search for additional private equity investments in order to reach the 5% target allocation.

Pennsylvania State Employees’ Retirement System has committed $50 million each to RRJ Capital Master Fund III, Audax Private Equity Fund V, Blackstone Capital Partners VII and Ridgemont Equity Partners II.
Texas County and District Retirement System has committed $30 million to OrbiMed Private Investments VI. The transaction was finalized last week.

Washington State Investment Board has committed $750 million to Warburg Pincus Private Equity XII. The fund will invest in venture and growth capital, buyouts, recapitalizations and special situations.

The Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to recalculate and verify that private equity investment management fees, expenses, and carried interest were charged in accordance with the limited partnership agreement.
At its September 10 meeting, Marin County Employees' Retirement Association confirmed a $50 million commitment to Pathway Private Equity Fund Investors 8.

Connecticut Retirement Plans and Trust Fund has committed $75 million to Clearlake Capital Partners IV, a fund focused on special situations, distressed and value investments.

According to the September quarterly report, Michigan Department of Treasury committed $300 million to Blackstone Capital Partners VII, $150 million to Coller International Partners VII, $111 million to Carlyle Europe Partners IV, $75 million to Centerbridge Capital Partners III, $45 million to Encap Energy Capital Fund X, $40 million to Peninsula Fund VI and $30 million to Arbotreum Ventures IV in the quarter ended June 30.

University of Florida Foundation's private equity portfolio outperformed its benchmark of 8.6% with a fiscal year return of 17.4%. The venture growth equity strategy was a strong contributor.
