Maine Public Employees Retirement System (MainePERS) has agreed to commit $100 million to Carlyle Global Infrastructure Opportunity Fund, a contact at the pension informed Private Equity International.

The $14.50 billion US public pension has a 15.0 percent target and current allocation to private equity.

As illustrated in the charts below, MainePERS has made ten commitments to private equity funds with a 2018 or 2019 vintage totalling $500 million.
