Technology investment vehicle nCoTec Ventures has committed E3m to Volantia Inc. The UK based company specialises in artificial intelligence (AI) software that reconfigures unstructured, intuitively entered data into a manageable, structured format using natural language interpreters.
Tim Horlick, managing director and co-founder of nCoTec, who is joining the Board of Volantia, said: “Volantia is addressing a dynamic area of the market. The company has developed an interesting software product with genuine commercial application.”
nCoTec invests in the enabling technologies supporting wireless communications, wireless data, wireless-internet convergence and communications infrastructure and focuses on investments in the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia and Germany.
Gerardo Lemus and Claudia Rodriguez, both MIT graduates, founded Volantia this year.
