Aberdeen Murray Johnstone Private Equity has appointed Dominic Courtman as assistant director to its Leeds office, where he will be working on new investments.
He joins from Deloitte & Touche, which he had worked since 1993. After passing his ACA he moved into the corporate finance department in January 1997 and was promoted to assistant director last year.
Courtman, who passed the Securities Institute Board’s corporate finance exam in 1999, has experience spanning a broad range of transactions. This includes advisory work on private equity transactions, corporate disposals and acquisitions, flotation and other stock exchange work as well as complex investigation and due diligence work for corporate and financial acquirers.
