NHRS approves $150m commitment

New Hampshire Retirement System has approved a $150 million commitment to BlackRock Private Opportunities Fund Co-Investment, as mentioned during the institution’s November 2020 investment committee meeting.

As illustrated below, the pension’s recent private equity commitments have been to funds that focus primarily on North American investments. NHRS has a 10 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 12.3 percent.
