NYSCRF approves €350m commitment

The US public pension has backed a Europe-focused fund.

New York State Common Retirement Fund committed €350 million to CVC Capital Partners VII, which expects to make control-oriented buyout investments.

The $185 billion US public pension has a 10 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 7.8 percent.
