NYSCRF commits $550m to PE strategy

The US public pension fund backed three PE funds in July.

New York State Common Retirement Fund (NYSCRF) revealed on its official document that it committed $300 million to GSO Capital Partners’ (Blackstone) GSO Capital Solutions III; $100 million to Asia Alternatives Management’s New York Co-Investment Pool Asia Investors II and $150 million to TPG Partners’ Rise Fund.

NYSCRF currently allocates 7.7 percent to private equity investments.
