NYSTRS commits to four PE funds

The US public pension commits $550 million to private equity

In its April 26th meeting agenda, New York State Teachers Retirement System revealed commitments of $200 million to KKR Asian Fund III, $200 million to Silver Lake Partners V, and $75 million each to One Rock Capital Partners II and Valor Equity Partners IV.

The $105 billion US public pension has a 7.6 percent current allocation to private equity.
