Oklahoma Police approves $60m in PE commitments

The US public pension has backed three private equity funds.

Oklahoma Police Pension and Retirement System has agreed to commit $25 million to Clean Growth Fund V, $20 million to Warburg Pincus Global Growth and $15 million to Green Equity Investors VIII, according to the pension’s latest published meeting minutes.

The $2.60 billion US public pension has a 10.0 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 8.20 percent.

As illustrated in the charts below, Oklahoma Police has made six commitments to private equity funds with a 2018 or 2019 vintage, which combined constitute $102.70 million.
