Pantheon is keen on secondaries

The specialist private equity firm has hired Elly Livingstone to help invest in secondaries.

Pantheon Ventures, the global investment manager active in both the primary and secondary private equity markets, has appointed Elly Livingstone as associate director to work on European secondary investing.

The firm has its own dedicated $418m secondaries fund, trading as Pantheon Global Secondary Fund. It also manages secondary funds for clients. Pantheon says it is able to deploy more than $750m for secondary investments, and has 'the flexibility to consider secondary acquisitions ranging in value from $1m to $1.5bn'.

Livingstone will join the firm's London office and work with colleagues based in San Francisco, Brussels and Hong Kong.

The new recruit has a background in management consulting, having worked for Accenture and PricewaterhouseCoopers before joining CDC Capital Partners.
