PennPSERS approves $300m to private equity

The US public pension has backed a buyout and a debt fund.

Pennsylvania Public School Employees’ Retirement System has approved commitments of $150 million each to Trilantic Capital Partners VI and TPG Opportunities Partners IV.

The $56 billion US public pension has a 16 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 11.3 percent.
