David Bonderman, Managing Partner
David Bonderman is a Managing Partner and Founder of Texas Pacific Group. He is based in the Fort Worth office and is arguably the public face of the firm. Prior to forming Texas Pacific Group in 1993, he was chief operating officer of the Robert M. Bass Group, Inc. (now operating as Keystone, Inc.). Prior to joining RMBG in 1983, he was a partner at law firm Arnold & Porter in Washington, DC where he specialised in corporate, securities, bankruptcy, and antitrust litigation. From 1969 to 1970, Bonderman was a fellow in foreign and comparative law in conjunction with Harvard University and from 1968 to 1969, he was Special Assistant to the US Attorney General in the civil rights division.
William Price, Managing Partner
William S. Price, III is a Managing Partner of Texas Pacific Group (TPG). He is based in the San Francisco office. Prior to forming TPG in 1993, he was Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Development for G.E. Capital, and from 1985 to 1991 he was employed by Bain & Company, where he was a partner and co-head of the Financial Services Practice.

Richard P. Schifter has been a Managing Partner of Texas Pacific Group since July 1994 and is based in the firm's Washington office. He is also a Managing Partner of Newbridge Latin America Fund, L.P.
