Easiest decision ever made at The Blackstone Group: putting Nicole Kidman in the annual report. Public shareholders in the alternative investment giant were treated to a visual tour de force in the form of Blackstone's first-ever official shareholder year-end roundup. The front of the book consists mainly of Hollywood-quality still photography featuring Blackstone employees and things that Blackstone owns. Among these assets is Merlin Entertainment Group, a “leisure attractions” company that Blackstone says has seen a 12-times increase in revenue under the firm's ownership. Merlin owns Madame Tussauds London Museum, which features wax likenesses of famous people. We thought it was really Nicole Kidman, too. The five top managers of Blackstone are featured on p. 28, and we assume these are real people. But – no offense – they're not as easy on the eyes.
