San Jose Police & Fire increases investment range for private equity

The public pension fund has increased its minimum to three percent and its maximum to thirteen percent

The City of San Jose Police & Fire Department Retirement Plan has increased the minimum range for its private equity target allocation to three percent and its maximum to thirteen percent, while its target allocation is eight percent.

The $3.1 billion US public pension has a 35 percent current allocation to alternatives.
