SFERS approves $105m in commitments

The US public pension has backed Asia and Global focused funds.

San Francisco Employees’ Retirement System has approved commitments of $75 million to TowerBrook Investors V and $30 million to Long Hill Capital Venture Partners II.

The $24 billion US public pension has an 18 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 17.2 percent.
