SFERS approves over $160m in commitments

The US public pension has backed two buyout funds.

San Francisco Employees’ Retirement System has approved a $100 million commitment to Thoma Bravo Discover Fund II and EUR 50 million to Nordic Capital Fund IX.

The $23 billion US public pension has an 18 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 15.6 percent.
