SFERS approves $250m in commitments

San Francisco Employees’ Retirement System has approved commitments of $75 million each to Battery Ventures XII and Sycamore Partners III, and $50 million each to OrbiMed Private Investments VII and Patria – Private Equity Fund VI.

The $23 billion US public pension has an 18 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 15.6 percent.
