SFERS approves $245m in commitments

The US public pension has backed a Europe, North America and two Asia focused funds.

San Francisco Employees’ Retirement System has approved commitments of $35 million to DCM Venture Fund IX, $50 million to K4 Private Investors, $60 million to Pemberton Strategic Credit Opportunities Fund I and $100 million to Hillhouse Fund IV.

The $24 billion US public pension has an 18 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 17.2 percent.
